I am no stranger to the Superstay lipsticks, they are some of my favourites and I have built up quite a good little collection of them! I wanted to show you the lip colour I have been getting lots of compliments on this A/W ‘Always Plum’. It reminds me a lot of the MAC Private Party lipstick from the Divine Night collection (you know the one that sold out instantly!) It has a really rich and creamy plum tone which is very flattering on pale skintones and it feels so moisturising on the lips (without being ‘slippy’)
Formula wise this feels like a MAC cremesheen, applies smoothLy and is fully opaque in one swipe. You can tone the colour down by applying it over lipbalm which I sometimes do for a plum flush of colour. It lasted about 4 hours on my lips (during which time I demolished a KFC!) and even after is wore of it did leave a slight tint to the lips. I cannot recommend this shade enough- especially if you missed out of the Private Party shade from MAC. Oh and they smell/taste like raspberries, just gorgeous!

And if you say that the formula is soft but quite permanent (4 hours for me would be great!), then I will try them.
The colour is also lovely but I would buy a lighter shade.

I’ve never tried a superstay lipstick but this post really makes me want to try them.
This looks really nice. For me a MAC lipstick lasts 4 hours or less anyway so paying less than half the price for this is right up my street 🙂

they sort of ‘set’ on the lips and then just don’t budge- I am not one for products that need constant re-applying so these are perfect for me! – the shade range is awesome too! xx
