L’oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara

16/12/2013 · beauty · 0

(shown above with and without flash)
I told you a few days ago about the new Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara from L’oreal that is due to launch here in the UK around January, I wanted to get a review up before then so you can see it in action and also to remind you that I am giving one away to celebrate a 1000 bloglovin followers!
So what do L’oreal have to say about Miss Manga?
“Mega Volume Miss Manga by L”Oréal Paris features a flexible brush for amazing volume – mega volume. The tapered shape helps to create a 360 degree volume, up to 15 times as much. Easy to apply and the lovely brush and formula add amazing volume inspired by the cool manga look.”

I have no idea why it’s called Miss Manga but I can confirm it does indeed give mega volume, in fact it’s one of the best mascaras I have ever tried for giving the appearance of thicker fuller lashes! The brush itself is a tapered style which makes getting those little corner lashes really easy as the width at the tip of the brush is very small which prevents you from getting mascara on the eyelid/eye area.
The volume you get from this is extreme, in fact over the past week every time I have worn it I have had comments on how amazing my lashes looked (I even had some people believing they were falsies!) I would say this is a one coat mascara, going back in for the second coat I did notice a little clumping which isn’t to my taste but if you like that sort of effect then you will love this! I wore this on my top and bottom lashes and found it didn’t smudge or flake, it kept the curl all day and my lashes looked thick and glossy until I removed it in the evening. The only downside I found was that the brush did pick up a lot of product, I simply wiped the excess off so as to not overload my lashes.
All in all this is an amazing mascara if your looking for volume and length, I would highly recommend giving it a try when it launches in January- be sure to let me know if you do!
The L’oreal Miss Manga mascara costs £8.99 and is available here.
