A/W Beauty Wishlist
I haven’t done a beauty wishlist in a while and as we are now officially moving into the Autumn months I thought it was high time I put together some of my current ‘I need this!’ products.
1. Essie Fill The Gap Base Coat £11.95
I suffer with terrible ridges on my nails, years of falsies and nail biting have taken their toll! I saw that Alix had purchased this base coat designed to create a smooth base and she raved about it so naturally I now have to have it!
2. Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette in Dolce Vita £38
There are quite a few things from the gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup line that I want but I’ve limited myself to 3! This palette is absolutely gorgeous full of dark and shimmery brown tones perfect for a classic smoky eye.
3. Smashbox Always Sharp Kohl Liner in Black £16
I saw this on someone’s vlog but I actually don’t remember whose it was? Anyhoo it looked really pigmented and it has this quirky never needs to be sharpened thing going on which I love.
4. Rimmel Apocolips in Across the Universe £6.49
I think this shade is sooo beautiful and I have swatched it in-store a dozen times to I guess it’s time to purchase it already!
5. Charlotte Tilbury Kissing Lipstick in Penelope Pink £23
Pretty sure this could be my new go to pinky nude for winter! I spoke before about not loving dark lip colours all the time in winter and I actually think a mauve/nude can look so chic. I also adore the packaging, it is the perfect makeup bag lipstick!
6. Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque £27
I have read about this masque before and I have been looking for a new one to add to my skincare regime and my skin has been feeling a tad congested. It’s packed full of anti-oxidants and is has a bit of a cult status in the beauty blogging world so I am hoping it lives up to it’s hype!
7. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream £70
I know I know this is a ‘whoa £70!?!?’ sort of item but as soon as I read the description I was sold. Yes I really am that shallow! It contains hyaluronic acid which my skin loves and claims to flood the skin with moisture. Plus it says ‘Charlotte’s Magic Cream’ on the front which makes me extra happy, it’s the little things right?
8. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation £28.50
An old faithful product which I haven’t used since last year so I figured I should get myself a new bottle, it’s the perfect maximum flawless coverage for winter, not one I would wear everyday (it can be a bit of a pore clogger) but for special occasions this is a must have in my book.
So a bit of a mixed beauty bag and I could have easily added 10 more things, I love this time of year for product releases! I’d love to know what products your coveting for Autumn/Winter too.
