Hi girlies we are half way through the week and the sun is finally making an appearance, I don’t know about you but it just automatically puts me in a cheerful mood when the sun is shining! I went to a lovely blogger meetup earlier this week and had such a fantastic time, it was my first one and I was really nervous but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We went to the SheSaidBeauty offices where we were treated to Illamasaqua makeovers and lots of cupcakes! Before the SheSaidBeauty part we all met at Selfridges, it was quite funny really there was at least 40 girls milling around outside and I am pretty sure people thought we were a flash mob! I was being really nosy and swooning over everyone’s buys, these girls were hardcore and put my makeup knowledge/collection to shame!
I myself picked up 3 things, all of which I can’t get here in Canterbury (that is my justification for getting them!) I got the Nars Laguna bronzer, Nars Gilda blush and this Diptyque candle in ‘Violette‘. It smells exactly like palma violets and was an eye watering £20 for the mini version. I know that’s a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a candle but I had it lit for an hour yesterday, my whole house smelt gorgeous and it still looks unused so I think it might work out quite cost effective! I had the best time at the event and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Sophia, Sophie and SheSaidBeauty for making me feel so welcome at my first ever event.
