Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer £4.99
I had read good things about the Nivea express hydration primer so I was really excited to give it a try. Primers in general haven’t ever really ‘wowed’ me. I have tried lots of different ones including the Smashbox and Benefit Porefessional ones which *for me* were a little too hyped up! However this primer has been a total game changer for me. It goes on just like a moisturiser and feels very hydrating, it also smells really fresh. Once applied it sinks in and gives you a silky smooth flawless base for applying your foundation. I found it helps take the redness out of my skin and that I don’t use as much foundation now as it seems to melt into the skin and look flawless. On top of all of that, by the end of the day my makeup looks as fresh as it did when I first applied it! I have trouble with blushers just disappearing as the day goes on and my skin looking a bit shiny in places and dry in others, but everyone comments on how my makeup looks so nice when I have used this primer. I just can’t fault it…..actually I can, I wish it came in an industrial sized pot so I would never run out! As it is is comes in a beautiful glass jar with a baby pink lid, it looks really lovely on my dressing table. All that for under £5, seriously I have a big grin on my face because I just love finding fantastic products that don’t cost the earth and actually work!! I would definitely recommend you trying this one out!
