My new S/S purchases

Hi girlies! How are you all feeling on this lovely Friday afternoon? It is raining here in Kent and looks pretty depressing outside, I’ve been curled up on the sofa with a blanket, big cup of coffee and my cat asleep on my lap for the past few hours. I have had this horrible cold which has left me zapped of all my energy :(. I thought I would show you a couple of the things I have picked up to inject a bit of (much needed!) colour into my life and get me ready for Spring…it is definitely coming the big tree outside our house is starting to blossom!
So firstly I picked up this gorgeous coral messenger bag from Zara, I spotted this online and it was love at first sight, I hotfooted it to my local store and saw it sitting pretty amongst lots of other equally lovely bags (seriously if you haven’t check out Zara in a while then definitely pop in when you get a chance, it’s worth it for the bags, necklaces and scarves!). It was a purse friendly £19.99 too which I think it great value, I have worn my last messenger bag from Zara to death leading my mum to nickname it my ‘old faithful’ so it was definitely time for a change! I also picked up a few jewellery pieces, namely the mango jewelled earrings which match my necklace from Primark, these were just £1 in the sale, I also got the cute little silver earrings for £1, Primark have upped their jewellery quality ALOT and I see something every time I go instore now. The gold ring was actually from the Evans concession inside BHS, we popped in to look at the homeware and I spotted this for just £2 in the sale and had to have it! The earrings were from the BHS jewellery range and were just £1, I love this teardrop shape and I think both pieces look really expensive. Lastly I picked up some bright flowers from M&S, I know some people think flowers are a waste of money but personally I love fresh flowers, I think they really had something to a room and they always put a smile on my face! The pink ones were £5 and the white ones were £2.
So quite a thrifty shopping trip this time!
What do you think of my Spring buys?
