You all know by now that I am totally obsessed with mascaras, I have more mascaras than any other makeup product, if a new one comes out you can pretty much guarantee I will be sucked in by the promise of super long fluttery lashes! I had no idea that L’oreal were bringing out a new mascara and just spotted this on in Superdrug when I picked up the Barry M textured nail paints. Here is the blurb from L’oreal about their latest offering:
False Lash Flutter mascara with its Butterfly Brush and Cocoon Fibres creates winged out, fluttery looking volume. For lashes worth fluttering.
The brush is very unique, it has a curved tip with 3 rows of spaced out bristles, the end bristles are a little more packed together which means that it catches the corner lashes really well without any smudging. I actually can’t believe a mascara wand hasn’t come out like this before, it is perfectly curved to match the lash line unlike traditional wands that are straight. Application wise I have found it very easy to use, like I said it catches all of my lashes even the smallest corner ones. It dries really quickly and gives my lashes length and volume. I apply two coats and have found it clumps a little but after running the brush through my lashes a few times the clumps disappear. I also really like the product, it’s a really creamy black which I think makes it more wearable that a lot of black mascaras which can be a tad stark against pale skin.
