FOTD #1 Happy New Year!

01/01/2013 · beauty · 0

A big happy 2013 to you all! How was your New Years Eve? I had a very quiet one this year opting to spend it with family. I have been a bit poorly and after quite a difficult year I just wanted to be surrounded by my loved ones. We watched films and then watched the live countdown from London, the fireworks were just spectacular; I actually full on cried I found the whole experience very emotional. 2012 was a bit of a mixed bag for me and I ended up sobbing ‘I am so glad this year is over!’ into my mums shoulder! I am not usually so dramatic but hey it was new year! Today I had some quality time with my Dad. He works in London and commutes from Canterbury everyday so I don’t get to spend as much time with him as I would like. We went to Pizza Express which is on the river bank in Canterbury, it was a beautiful day and surprisingly busy! I picked up a Botanics brightening skincare set from Boots for just £8 too so I am in a fab mood! I thought I would share with you the look I went for today, something quite low key but cheerful for the first day of a brand spanking new year!
