I wanted to share this super easy gift idea with you as Christmas is getting so close and if your still struggling to get last minute prezzies the this is a really nice (and impressive looking!) thing to do. Today I will be showing you the brownie version but I also like to make shortbread which is very simple to make and always goes down a treat!
Brownies are great because they don’t need any prep to make and so long as you have vegetable oil and an egg your good to go. I do think its best to get the slightly more expensive brownie mix as they taste much more ‘home made’ then ‘box made’. I have lots of different moulds but this Christmas tree mould was from John Lewis and was just £3. I really like it because it is a silicone mould and so it is easy to pop the brownies out once you have cooked them! Once they are made (and have cooled!) I like to place them in pretty bags, these ones are just £1 for 12 from Poundland and have pretty stars all over them, they also come with pre cut gold ribbon which you tie around the bags, it looks so festive and costs next to nothing!
I think these are perfect for your neighbours or as a last minute Christmas party gift, they take about 25 minutes from the mixing to the cooling which is less time than a bubble bath!
