When a products instructions start by saying ‘apply to fully moisturised lips’ I get a bit scared. I can’t be the only one who applies a matt colour and is genuinely shocked at the way it picks up the tiniest bit of dry skin and makes it look like you’ve never seen a lipbalm in your life? I digress, and actually I thank Sleek for their honesty because this lipgloss is super matte, it feels like putting a concealer on your lips and is a tad suffocating on the lip but boy are the results worth it!
I am totally in love with this bubblegum pink. I can imagine MUA’s will be stocking up on this for any 60’s style shoots, the second I applied it I swear I looked like I had a face full of makeup on, and I had nothing on but a touch of mascara. I think it works particularly well with blue eyes, I have quite big eyes anyway but my eyes really stood out with this on, I would say though if your not prepared to put in the prep work (that means scrubbed, buffed and moisturised lips!) then maybe give this a miss, but I would say your missing out, I personally haven’t seen anything like this lipgloss before and I know I will be stocking up!
