NUXE Rêve de Miel Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm Review (yeah another one!)

21/11/2012 · beauty · 0

NUXE Rêve de Miel Lipbalm £9.50

One of the things I miss most about living in London is the easy access to my favourite brands. I yearn for the days I could pop to an Illamasqua counter or look around the Selfridges beauty hall. It really is the simple things in life that keep me smiling! One benefit of living in Canterbury is the high speed trains to London. I mentioned before how I can be shopping in Westfield Stratford City in about 49 minutes, I have to admit it has (frequently) taken me longer than that to get from one end of Edgware Road to the other on a bus!  In Westfield there is a gigantic Marks and Spencers and they have recently redone their beauty section. It now features lots of new brands and everything is laid out beautifully like a mini beauty hall. I have to admit I found the staffs attitude to be quite lacklustre but I was on a mission to pick up the blog cult item ‘Nuxe Reve De Miel’ lipbalm so I didn’t need much help. I doubt very much mine is the only blog you lovely readers check out, and as such I am pretty sure you have read a billion reviews of this lipbalm so sorry for the repeat!

I was totally sucked into buying this because I was buying into blogger hype, and boy am I glad I did! I find it a perfect addition to my lipcare regime (yes I have a regime, my lips are seriously dry and chapped at the best of times so they need a lot of management!). I liked the little glass jar but do wish I had picked up a  stick version too for when I am on the go, it has a really nice citrus smell and smooths on like an actual balm without any stickiness, it feels very nourishing and I have noticed a big improvement in the condition of my lips. It is no miracle worker but it is up there and is probably the best lip balm I have ever tried. That said if another one hits the blogosphere tomorrow I will no doubt be hotfooting down to Stratford to stock up on that too!
