A few days ago I told you about shade 19 from the new spring Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick collection. Well I was naughty and went and got a couple more as I loved that shade and finish so much!! I have added a nude and a peach/pink shade to my ever growing makeup collection and thought I would share my thoughts on them with you.
So firstly I picked this shade 26 nude because it had a nice peach tone which I thought would compliment my uber pale skintone! I can’t usually wear light colours as I am pale and they just give me a washed out look but this one really worked for me and I got a lot of compliments when wearing it for the first time!
It was a little bit tricky to apply as it needed a fair bit of blending and I would recommend exfoliating your lips and popping on a little balm before application. It is a great addition to the range and a must have for when your trying out smokey eyes or a sexier look but it works perfectly as a day lip too!! (The picture below shows me wearing it with just minimal makeup and I think its really nice on!)
Next I picked up shade 16. This was a lovely bright peachy pink colour that looked like a MAC cremesheen to me. It applied like one too, I didn’t need any balm first and the pop of colour perfectly matched the lipstick which doesn’t always happen!
I only needed a little bit to get a great colour and I have tried it mixed with a gloss and it looks really girlie and pretty. This is a great colour for any skintone as it is just so wearable. I think on darker skinned girlies it would look just beautiful and yet it suits my pale skin too. A real winner!!
