L’oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara

Happy Friday everyone! Today I wanted to talk to you about the new L’oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara which I have been road testing for a few weeks now! This is another one of those double ended mascaras but instead of it being for top and bottom lashes, one end is a primer and one is the actual mascara. The primer is a white formula that is supposed to add volume and create the base for the actual mascara…I will be honest with you, I did not like it at all! I found the primer was a bit sticky and actually made my lashes feel heavy and look a bit clumpy. This was really evident when I applied the actual mascara over the top and I wasn’t a fan at all! I decided to try the mascara without the primer and WOW I was just blown away by how much better it was on its own. The bristles on the mascara wand are quite short and well spaced out, but what really makes the mascara special is the curve of the wand, it just grabs right from the root and really lifts the lashes without clumping. I found it held the lift and curl all day but I did notice a little smudging under the eyes so if you have oily lids you might want to bare that in mind! This is a winner for me and I would definitely re-purchase even though I am not a fan of the primer part!
