I really love the quality of the Sleek eye palettes, they have such a great range of colour choices and if you are travelling you can just take a couple with you and they will see you through your whole trip!
Now usually I don’t wear bright colours on my eyes, I just feel they don’t really flatter my skin tone very well, but I went ahead and picked up both of the new ‘Ultra Mattes’ palettes as I am trying to introduce a bit of colour to my usual makeup style.
The brights palette has a nice mixture of neon and pastel colours and the pigment is very strong. I noticed the pastel colours are a little harder to use and because of this you have to layer the colours a little more to get the colour intense enough.
Now I was surprised the darks palette was launched now, it is the perfect autumn/winter palette. The colours are gorgeous, super pigmented and look very expensive. I would liken it to the Bobbi Brown natural palette in terms of quality. The colours apply smoothly and don’t crease, I also noticed they don’t have a chalky consistency which I did think you could notice in the brights palette, especially the paler colours.
I would definitely recommend the brights palette if like me you like to line your lower lashes for a burst of colour, or even for a festival as they are really wearable and nice and fresh. The darks palette is my new favourite smokey eye palette, the colours are just perfect for creating lots of different looks!

I only have the dark mattes palette but I love it! I’m not sure I am confident to rock the bright mattes palette, but I do love Sleek shadows. So well pigmented, they feel lovely and they stay on all day! xo
