I have been waiting so long for a good mascara, and now ironically 3 have come along at once!
I reviewed the Mac Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara for you last week and was blown away by it. But now I have found this little beauty and I have to admit I love it even more!
The Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara in Ultra Black is described as “Extreme volume, ultra resistance, maxi brush”. I definitely agree with all three of these points, but I was worried the maxi brush would cause the mascara to give a clumpy effect on the lashes. I was really surprised at how nicely it spread the lashes and built volume without a spiky lash effect!
I applied this mascara with just one coat and didn’t use any eyelash curlers beforehand so as to give a good representation of the quality of the product. I think you can see what I mean about it giving full lashes that are perfectly fanned out, without any clumping. I really liked how easy it was to apply too, it dried very quickly too which is great for me as I hate blinking and ending up with mascara smudges!!
For just £7.99 I would rate this as one of the best mascaras on the market for full volume lashes. I cannot praise it highly enough, and if you read my blog you know I don’t usually praise products or recommend you to buy them but I would definitely recommend this one!
You can purchase this in Superdrug for £7.99. I bought mine on a 3for2 deal and for buying 3 Bourjois products I received a free pair of over-sized sunglasses and a lovely sunglasses case too!!
