So if you read my ‘turning 30’ post you know I recently celebrated my birthday. I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the things I got from family and friends in one of those ‘what I got for my birthday’ posts. As always I was spoilt rotten, but this year I definitely noticed I got more personal ‘I get you’ presents which was so, so lovely.
I’ve been talking about my love of bees recently so I was really happy to some bee-related presents, namely these stunning earrings from Bill Skinner and a gorgeous gold honey trivet/coaster from Anthropologie.
Everything I got was just so beautiful and well thought out, but the one thing that made me shed a little tear was my first Mason Pearson hairbrush. It’s something I’ve wanted since I was a little girl and I was just so blown away that my Dad remembered. I received some money/vouchers too so expect a few mini hauls soon.
I also received a stunning Nanette Lepore gold leaf phone case, a beautiful jewellery travel box from Oliver Bonas, some stationary goodies from Kikki K, a trio of Tocca mini rollerballs (I could not be happier about that!) and some skincare from Dr Hauschka- one of my favourite brands.
I really hope you liked a ‘what I got for my birthday’ post, they are one of my favourites to read/watch! I was very lucky and despite the slightly traumatic experience of turning 30 (!) it was such a lovely birthday.
It’s so nice as you get older that you receive presents that are more personal. Those earrings are gorgeous, love the look of those, so glad you’re pleased with your gift and happy belated 30th birthday xo
