Christmas Gift Guide #1

Hi everyone! I cannot believe we are at the Christmas Gift Guide part of the year but it’s now officially the final countdown to the big day (in fact this time next month it’s Christmas Eve!) I thought I would share a few gift guides with you for ideas and inspiration if you are struggling to find things for your loved ones and I know I always find some people hard to buy for!

DELICIOUS ALMOND COLLECTION – L’OCCITANE EN PROVENCE £49: I love a good gift set so I had to include is beautiful one from L’occitane. If you haven’t tried the Almond Shower Oil before then you will most definitely have heard of it, it’s a beauty blogger cult product for a reason and perfect for any one with dry skin or in need of a pamper, this set includes the Shower Oil, Hand Cream, Soap, Skin Oil and Body Cream for under £50! I think I will be picking up one of these for my Mum because she loves the range, I’d definitely recommend checking out the gift sets on L’occitane as they have tons of them that will be perfect for any one your shopping for, I particularly like the stocking filler mini lip balm and hand cream sets!

DIPTYQUE SEASONALE CANDLE SET £48: Diptyque candles are probably my favourite of all and a must have for candle lovers, they burn evenly, distribute scent beautifully and lets face it they look pretty darn special! This set is such good value for money, you get 5 mini Diptyque candles in the scents: Feu de Bois, Opopanax, Ambre, Pomander and Cyprès. Minis cost £25 each usually so this is an incredible deal, is it wrong I am eyeing this one up for myself?!

MAC COSMETICS ENCHANTED EYE BRUSH KIT ESSENTIALS £45: Any makeup lover in your life will appreciate a kit of MAC makeup brushes, they quality is always excellent and it’s a fantastic way to start up a makeup kit without forking out for tons of brushes! I picked this one out of the 3 MAC have in their holiday collection because I thought the brush range was the most extensive, you have everything from contour and blush brushes to eye shading and defining, it’s a fantastic kit and well worth the £45 as their are no dud brushes in this set!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MINI LIPSTICK CHARMS £29: So by now we all know Charlotte Tilbury makeup has taken the blogging world by storm, the lipsticks are my personal favourite, creamy and highly pigmented but not drying or heavy. I actually recieved this set last year (you can see the review I did here) and it was my favourite present of all! The three little mini lipsticks are just too cute for words and the quality is exactly the same as the ‘normal’ sized ones too. There are 3 shades a Pink, a Red and a Nude (my personal favourite being the Pink), if you are looking for a special gift for under £30 this Christmas I highly recommend picking one of these up!

HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING EDIT £65: This is probably on everyones wishlist this year so I think any beauty lover who received this under the tree was going to be a very happy girl! Featuring all the iconic Ambient Lighting Powders as well as a limited edition strobing powder, this is the perfect ‘glow from within’ palette. It isn’t cheap but for a special gift this Christmas it’s a winner!

AROMATHERAPY ASSOCIATES MINI BATH OIL COLLECTION £39: This is one of my favourites from the gift guide because it works for any age/gender/hard to please relative! They can be used in the shower or bath (so great for those weird ‘I hate baths’ people!) and are packs full of essential oils designed to alleviate a whole array of problems. My favourite is Relax Deep Sleep, I’ve never slept better than after a bath full of this! I actually got this for my Dad last year and he is now obsessed with these oils, it’s a great gift for anyone that has a lot of stress or needs pampering this Christmas (even if that person is you 😉 )

So there you have it, that’s my first Gift Guide of the year! I hope it’s been a little helpful for picking out some bits for your loved ones, I will be doing some smaller gift guides and ‘hard to please’ ones too so keep an eye out for those! If you haven’t checked out the L’occitane Christmas videos on Youtube yet you should definitely go and have a look, I’ve included my favourite one below, it’s very fitting with the theme of this post (that being me picking out gifts and not so secretly wanting to keep them all!)

Let me know what you think of the gift guide and if you have any requests for other Christmas Gift Guide posts then leave them in the comments!

This post was created in collaboration with L’occitane, read my full disclaimer here.

  2. I really love the hourglass palettes they are amazing quality, and look soooo good 🙂

  3. Such a gorgeous selection of products, especially the Diptique Candle Set and the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Charms! I don’t know whether I’d be able to give any of these products away, though – I think I’d be too tempted to keep them for myself!
