Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb

10/09/2015 · beauty · 0

Quite recently Lush announced they were discontinuing a whole host of products (I am in mourning for the Dorothy Bubble Bar!) they promised the replacement products would be something special so when I saw a few of the new bath bombs I thought I would pick them up to try out. Today I am sharing the new Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb. It is a really beautiful turquoise and pink bomb full of gold shimmer and popping candy (!) it smells absolutely incredible, really fresh with the peppermint and quite herbal too with the cedar wood. I popped it in the bath and it made some beautiful galaxy patterns with swirls of deep turquoise and pink.lush intergalactic bath bomb Up close you could see the shimmer swirling through the water and against the turquoise water it looked really beautiful! When I got in the bath I noticed it has bubbled up a fair bit too which is nice as sometimes sitting in coloured water can feel a bit sad without bubbles (or is that just me?!) but I was overwhelmed by how relaxed I felt, I think it was the peppermint/cedar wood/vetiver mixture which made me feel really refreshed and relaxed, like I had been to a spa.

I actually went off of Lush bath bombs for a while and stuck to bubble bars for ages but this one has definitely got me back into them, I will be picking up another one of these and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing luxurious bath experience!

The Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb costs £3.95 and is available in store and here.

This is so pretty! It sounds like one I need to try! I LOVE bath bombs that help a bath become super relaxing. You’re right about the lack of bubbles, bubbles are important for a nice bath I think. One of my favourite things about bath bombs is how they soften the water and your skin always feels nice afterwards!

I hate having no bubbles! I should have said this left my skin really soft but with no residue which was great, I definitely recommend it! xx

I LOVE this bath bomb! It’s fast turned into my favourite from Lush now. I was so sad about Lush discontinuing Space Girl, but now Intergalactic is available to buy from my local store and online, I’m very happy. 😛

The return of Autumn also means we can have more bubble bath (insert happy dance) which I am really excited about! The scent of this one seems something I might really like and turquoise is one of my favourite colour …. meaning I will check this out very soon! xx
