I really wanted to share this nail combo with you today, it’s made up of the Barry M Nail Paint in Ballerina and the Barry M Sunset Top Coat and I have been wearing it non stop all month (when I am not wearing Prickly Pear but thats a whole other post!) Firstly I should tell you about this Barry M Sunset top coat, it is technically only meant for theBarry M sunset nail polish range but I’ve been using it as a normal top coat and it really reminds me of the cult Seche Vite one. It is quite thick like Seche Vite and gives a really glossy finish to the nails, and it stops my nails chipping…at all. I haven’t had a single chip when wearing this, which is a miracle as I always chip my nails. I am onto my second bottle now as I have recently converted my Mum to using this too!
Nail polish wise I am obsessed with Barry M’s Ballerina, it’s from their normal nail paint range and it is a beautiful dusky pink, I don’t usually like pinks on my skin tone but this is just warm enough to look really pretty and just ‘dusky’ enough to stop it from looking too girly if that makes sense? I just think it’s the perfect spring to summer nail colour and I feel really feminine and polished (see what I did there??) whenever I wear it. I apply 2 coats for a full opaque finish, it doesn’t streak and has a surprisingly fast drying time. I am hooked!
Both of these Barry M wonders can be picked up from Superdrug (the Barry M Sunset Top Coat is £4.99 here and the Barry M Nail Paint in Ballerina is £2.99 here) better still they are currently in the buy one get one half price promotion!
