Rimmel London ScandalEyes Xxtreme Mascara

There are a few new mascaras out atm and as you can probably guess I’ve been road-testing them all! Todays review is of the Rimmel London ScandalEyes Xxtreme Mascara which is supposed to give extreme length and high impact volume. I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Rimmel mascaras but this one was really really good! Firstly the wand is a plastic one with that curved shape that’s quite popular atm. On the flat side the bristles are longer and more spaced out, on the curved side they are much shorter and quite tightly packed together. I found the curved side made it easy to get on those corner lashes without poking myself in the eye (!) and the flat side made it easy to work the product right through the lashes to get great length. I really did notice how long my lashes looked (they went right up to my brows!), volume wise it was pretty good- not the best volumising mascara I’ve tried but it did a good job without any clumps. It is easily buildable too and didn’t flake or feel heavy on my lashes. If you struggle with length then this mascara is definitely one to try out, it won’t work miracles volume wise but combined with a good volumising one you could be looking at pretty perfect lashes!
