I have been searching for a really nice cool toned browny/pink shade for ages and finally found my absolute holy grail (beatnik by topshop fyi) but they went and discontinued it, I think we all love beauty enough to be ok with the fact that I may have shed a little tear when I found this out! My search continued and I came across MAC Brave, a satin finish. Shade wise it’s quite similar to beatnik- if a little more cool toned, I almost feel like they’ve added a bit of pastel pink into the mix here and I really like it! It feels moisturising on and doesn’t highlight dry flaky lips (I’ve been rocking them for a few weeks now!) It’s quite a pale pink on me and it’s not something I would usually pick but I just can’t stop wearing it, it looks great as a quick ‘slick on a lippie and go’ one but looks just as beautiful with a smokey eye. If you are in the market for a really good staple pink lip this one should definitely be on your shopping list!
