Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

If you have been looking for a mascara that gives a good shot of volume and length then this new one from Maybelline might just be for you!
It has a plastic wand which has that curved shape which is very popular at the moment, it makes it so much easier to get those corner lashes but this is the first mascara I’ve tried where I’ve really been able to see the difference between the two sides! The long bristled side is perfect for grabbing the lashes from the roots and giving great length and then turning the wand over to use the shorter bristled side you really notice the volume it gives, it picks up a fair bit of product on this side but I didn’t find it looked too clumpy or spiky. Because the bristles are layered it just really grabs every single lash so even if you have quite short eyelashes you will find this is great for adding length!

The only down-side I found was that it took about an extra 30 seconds to be fully dry- I think it you suffer with ‘panda eyes’ when using non-waterproof mascaras this could be an issue? Once dry my lashes felt really flexible and light and removing the product was really easy. The volume and length lasted all day and I noticed the curl in my lashes looked much better at the end of the day then usual! This has become a daily staple for me as I like quite bold lashes without any clumps, it would look equally as dramatic in the evening too.
