Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara

25/01/2014 · beauty · 0

Another day another new mascara launch! I was really excited for this one as it’s been features on a fair few U.S blogs and looked really good! The Maybelline ‘Falsies’ Big Eyes Mascara has 2 wands (sensing a 2014 mascara theme?) one for the top lashes and one for the bottom. The bottom lash mascara is very similar to the Clinique one and gives a good distribution of product without any clumping or smudging. The top lashes mascara is just lovely to work with, it has a slightly tapered shape and thick bristles that pick up just enough product, my lashes had both length and volume for using this and no clumping at all- did I mention I hate clumpy lashes?!
The product itself was drier that some I’ve used before but I found this meant it didn’t smudge at all- so great if you often find mascaras smudge throughout the day. I liked that the brush tapered to the end which let me get all the corner lashes without poking myself in the eye! What impressed me the most was the amount of volume it gave, I looked like I was wearing false lashes! I also liked how it kept the curl all day as my lashes are long but quite straight. All in all this is a great addition to the Maybelline mascara line and if your in the market for a new one I would highly recommend this!
The Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes Mascara costs £6.99 (will be £8.99) and is available here.

I haven’t tried it yet but I really like that it has a separate brush for the lower lashes :o) Xx

it’s worth buying just for that one, a fraction of the Clinique price and it works just as well 🙂 xx

I love dry mascara formulas, and I used to be obsessed with the Falsies, so this sounds like the perfect mascara for me! I’m surprised I haven’t picked one up yet.. But I’ve been too obsessed with Covergirl formulas as of late x
