MAC Sumptuous Olive
I showed you one of the less used shades in my MAC palette (Cranberry) last week and it went down so well I thought I would show you a few more shades starting with ‘Sumptous Olive’. To be honest I have no idea why it took me so long to purchase this one as I love olive eyeshadows! This is a beautifully pigmented olive green shadow which actually looks more like a rusty brown shade in a certain light, I believe it is a frost finish and it does have a shimmer running through it which adds a depth to the shade. I think this works really well all over the lid on it’s own, used to add definition to the lower lash line and also in place of a brown or black for a smokey eye. I use this all year round but it’s definitely being used more use now that it’s Autumn, there is just something so chic about an olive smokey eye for A/W don’t you think?
The MAC eyeshadow ‘Sumptuous Olive’ costs £12.50 (£10 for the pan version) and is available here.

I wouldn’t pick this up in store. But t is a gorgeous colour. It comes to life once it’s on your eye. Very pretty. Next time vim in I will swatch it

This is such a lovely colour! I’d never think to use olive for a smokey eye but I’m going to try it!

Looks beautiful, though I wouldn’t really describe it as a green, but as a brownish-golden shadow instead.
