I thought I would share this new mascara from Bourjois with you as everytime I wear it I get compliments on my lashes! I picked it up after seeing Lily mention it on her blog as a new favourite and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much- I haven’t ever been ‘wowed’ by Bourjois mascaras in the past! It is a tad gimmicky in the sense that you apply the first coat of mascara with the standard wand and then twist the lid to shorten and twist the wand shape before applying a second coat. The idea is that you get both length and volume in one mascara and I have to admit I was really pleasantly surprised by how good this was!
The standard wand is a great size and managed to pick up all my lashes including the corner lashes with ease, personally I found it gave me great length and volume on it’s own, without the need for the second coat using the twisted wand. For the evening though the twisted wand really adds volume and gives a dramatic false lash effect, I literally got ‘WOW your lashes are amazing!’ comments when using it! All in all I have to say this is a fab addition to the Bourjois mascara line and I do seem to be reaching for this more and more!
