A/W Update: Shower Gels

19/10/2013 · beauty · 0

So now that the weather has officially turned I think it’s time to start talking about a/w products. During the summer months I like to use quite light body washes in the shower as I hate the feel of heavy products on my skin when it is hot! Come Autumn though, my whole attitude towards body products change, I find myself reaching for heavier, more luxurious products that feel comforting and hydrating. Recently I have started using the new Imperial Leather Foam Burst range and have been absolutely loving them! I have 2 scents but there are 7 in total:
1. Moisturizing (Honey and Almond Milk)
2. Bewitching (Blackberry and Wild Fig)
3. Bracing (Bergamont and Sea Minerals)
4. Re balancing (Green Tea and Jasmine)
5. Uplifting (Lime and Grapefruit)
6. Spicy (Ginger and Orange)
7. Sweet (Vanilla and Cherry Blossom)
The two I have are the Spicy Ginger and Orange and the Bewitching Blackberry and Fig. They both smell absolutely incredible and the scent lingers on your skin all day which I love! Like all shower foams they pump out like a gel and then froth to a thick shower mousse. You barely need one small pump of this to get more than enough product for your whole body, but what I like the most about these is that they feel really hydrating. Personally I found the original foambursts quite drying and I wouldn’t say I have particularly dry skin, but these feel luxurious and nourishing which really surprised me. I think I will have to collect all the different scents, I particularly like the sound of the Bergamont and the Jasmine ones, I should also say that although I was sent one to try I immediately went out and picked up another one I loved it that much!
The Imperial Leather Foamburst Luxurious Body Washes cost £3.15 each (links above)
I am thinking about doing a A/W update featuring all the products I switch to as the weather changes, is that something you would like to see?
