So if your a regular reader of my blog then you know I have changed the layout a trillion times. I have always been aiming for something that is calming and beautiful whilst still being ‘me’. I have no skills at all when it comes to coding but I have managed to pick up a few tips from my good friend google and so this is the new design!
So firstly the logo for my blog has stayed the same, I am really happy with how it looks, it took me so long to find something that just worked for me but then I saw on a clothing website that they layer the title and it looked really effective. I think it’s a bit unique too I haven’t seen many blogs with a header like mine (maybe there’s a reason for that!)
So as you can see I have made myself a super snazzy toolbar at the top of the blog. When you hover the mouse over the headings you will get a drop down menu with links to everything you need to navigate the blog. I haven’t made a ‘labels’ drop down because I am in the process of adding nicer picture links on my sidebar! I may add things to the drop down menus as and when it’s needed but for now I think they cover everything! Other than that I have changed my instagram picture feed to be a bit lighter and I have made a space now to start tentatively offering advertising spaces! I haven’t put any more thought into than that but if you would be interested in advertising with me then do let me know, I am pretty nervous about doing it as I don’t think my blog is ‘big’ enough to warrant it but I find lots of blogs through peoples sidebars so I thought why not!
