Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush: Soft Pink

18/09/2013 · beauty · 0

I gave up wearing pink blush when I realised that instead of giving me a lovely flush of colour it looked more like I had been running a marathon. I have quite pinky undertones to my skin and I have found nearly all pink blushers accentuate this…except for one! Step forward the Max Factor’s ‘Miracle Touch Creamy Blush’ in Soft Pink. This had quite a buzz around it thanks to some blog and youtube love, in fact my local counters had all but sold out of it when I went to pick one up!
First things first, there is no point in lying; the packaging is awful! I suspect it may be redone thanks to the sudden interest in these little cream blushers. There are a few shades to pick from and in truth none of the others really stood out for me so I decided to go with the one everyone is raving about ‘Soft Pink’. Consistency wise it actually feels a lot like a lipstick (did anyone else used to use lipstick as blusher when they were younger!?) a little tacky to the touch, I found this makes the colour stay put all day as it doesn’t ‘slip’ like a lot of cream blushers can.
I apply this to the apples of my cheeks and then just blend it towards my cheek bones very lightly with my fingers. The result is a really healthy pop of colour, I think it must be quite a cool toned pink because it looks perfect against my pink toned skin. I find whenever my face looks a bit ‘tired’ or just ‘meh’ a bit of this on my cheeks just transforms the overall look making me look a lot more polished and put together than I actually am. I think I will try a few of the other shades after all…
You can purchase the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blushers for £6.99 each here.

Well doesn’t this just look amazing?! Like you said it suits your colouring down to a T – the consistency puts me off but if it stays put all day it might be worth investing in!

    Great review 🙂
