Holiday Nails

17/07/2013 · beauty · 0

I know the fashionable thing to say here would be that I only bring lipbalm, suncream and a smile on holiday because I love a natural look but…..no. I am a beauty blogger for a reason, and holidays are actually a period of time where my beauty regime goes a bit crazy! I like to really pamper myself when I go away, lots of massages, face packs and my favourite thing of all, painting my nails! I hate that panicked feeling I get when they weigh my case at the airport though so I decided to try and slimline my polish packing and these are the 6 nail products I will be packing:
1. Revlon Liquid Quick Dry £6.49 Or as I call it ‘a miracle worker’. Seriously one coat of this and your nail polish is instantly dry with a high gloss finish. It isn’t supposed to be used instead of a top coat but I actually find it works just fine in place of one and stops me needing to pack yet another product!
2. Rimmel Salon Pro Kate Moss in Hip Hop £4.49 This is such an amazing shade, it is an orange toned red which can almost look a bit pink in the right light. I absolutely love it and every single time I wear it I get compliments, the formula is great too and stays chip free for agggges!
3. W7 Multi Debris Polish £4.95 (pr sample) I can’t actually see this online anywhere (it is a new release so as soon as I get a link I will add it!) but this is my favourite glitter polish atm, it has a lovely mixture of small glitter particles that looks as good on it’s own as it does layered over other colours. It also dries quickly for a glitter polish and I found it peels off the nail quite easily too.
4. Essie Summer 2013 Collection £12.99  I picked this mini set up because the shade I wanted ‘sunday funday’ was out of stock everywhere! I have to say I like all 3 colours and they are absolutely perfect for summer. All 3 do need 2 coats for an opaque finish and they have a slight shimmer running through them which catches the light really well. The colours are sunday funday (coral), naughty nautical (turquoise) and full steam ahead (lilac).
So there you have it my must haves for my holiday- I think I could have added a ton more but I am trying to get this polish addiction under control- plus there’s always the airport for some last minute purchases! Let me know your holiday must have nail products too, and if your a holiday beauty/pamper person let me know so I know I am not alone!
