Well it finally happened, I fell in love and boy did I fall hard! The MAC Morange lipstick has been on my lust list since forever so when I had a little MAC spree last month I went ahead and picked it up. It is described as ‘loud mouth orange’ which I really couldn’t have put better myself! It is a red-orange rather than a yellow orange, which I personally find a lot more wearable, the cremesheen formula also makes it easy to apply. I did line my lips with the MAC Ablaze lipliner though as I found it was so creamy that I was worried it would end up sliding all over my face (attractive!) It didn’t though and I was really impressed with it’s staying power, it lasted all day with only one touch up at lunchtime!
The thing I loved most was that I could just slick this on, add a bit of mascara and be done, it is such a bold shade you don’t really need any other makeup. I know your probably reading this and thinking ‘OK Charlotte we get it, you REALLY like Morange’ but I just love that feeling when you buy a new lipstick, try it for the first time and fall in love! I’d love to know what your favourite MAC lipsticks are too and also if you have any eyeshadow recommendations for me as I am slowly but surely filling my pro palette up.
