In my local H&M the makeup and beauty ‘section’ is one little display which is crammed full of products in no particular order. I actually find that H&M is one of those stores that you have to have a good rummage through the rails to find hidden gems! Well these liquid eyeshadows were hidden on the very bottom shelf of the display and on first inspection they didn’t look much but I thought they were unusual enough to pick up, especially at £2.99 each. Well when I got them home and had a little swatch of them (no testers in store either seriously H&M sort yourselves out!) I was blown away, these are SO much like the liquid metals from Illamasqua for a much lower price!
The only difference is that these are very much ‘liquid’ style eyeshadows, they are very creamy and have a wet sort of consistency, it basically means you can use these as more than just a plain old eyeshadow. I scooped out a bit of bronze and added it to moisturiser for a gorgeous sunkissed glow, you can also add them to your collarbone, cheeks and down the centre of your legs for definition. I am totally in love with them and actually prefer them to the Illamasqua version (although these are a tad messier as they are very soft). For £2.99 they have to be one of the best bargains on the high street. I have been loving H&M beauty recently, next on my hit list is the mascara which I’ve heard is brilliant!
