I bought this moisturiser when I was going through a ‘I hate my skin’ phase a few months ago. I did quite a lot of research into different skincare products and Origins kept coming up as peoples go to brand. I decided to get quite a few products and I will be reviewing them all separately but just so you know, alongside this moisturiser I have been using:
Origins Make A Difference Foaming Face Wash
*
Origins Dr Weil Mega Bright Serum
*
Origins Brighter By Nature Exfoliating Pads
*
I was immediately struck by the smell of this moisturiser, it has a lovely citrus scent which is really refreshing. You only need a tiny amount (as shown above) for the whole face as it does have quite an oily texture to it, I was worried it might be too oily for my combination skin but it absorbed easily and quickly leaving a dewy finish. I noticed that after about 4 weeks some of the scarring I had on my forehead had started to fade and by the time the moisturiser ran out the scarring there had all but disappeared. I should say I had tried other products to help reduce the redness of the scars in the past but nothing else had made a difference. I also noticed that my skintone was much more even and that when applying base I needed to use far less as I wasn’t needing to hide imperfections anymore. As you know I used this alongside other Origins products so you could argue it was because of the combined regime that my skin improved but I would say that I did run out of the other products first, carried on using this and my skin continued to improve. All in all I would recommend you asking for a sample of this one from your local Origins counter, it is my skincare staple and I would definitely recommend it if you suffer with any scarring, uneven skintone or discolouration problems. You can buy this moisturiser from the Origins website and it costs £35 for a 50ml tub.
