Hi girlies, sorry for the late posting today, I actually thought I had scheduled this for this morning but this damn flu has made me go a bit crazy! I was lucky enough to be sent this Style and Protect Gift Set from ghd and was asked to create a hair look for S/S. Now I was looking through lots of different hairstyles and hair trends for 2013 on the ghd website and the one that kept popping up was the return of the sleek hair look. I was so impressed with this gift set, firstly the paddle brush is excellent quality and it was only when I used this one that I realised how rubbish my other one is. It glided through my hair and helped get a really sleek look from the roots when blow-drying. I was really intrigued by the straight and smooth spray, mainly because you can use it on wet hair before blow-drying or on dry hair before straightening, I love products that are multi-taskers like this! I sprayed it on towel dried hair and then using the sectioning clips I blow-dried my hair with the paddle brush. You can see the results above, my hair was left sleek and perfectly straight, my Mum actually thought I had straightened my hair! I spritzed the final shine spray over as a finishing touch, it is really light which I like as some shine sprays can give a slight greasy finish if you accidentally apply too much but this left my hair looking really healthy. I think there is something really special about this look, it’s like the hair version of the LBD, always chic and always in style!
