S/S13: TOPSHOP Eye Crayons

I know what your thinking, why am I talking about S/S products when it’s snowing? Well I am just going to put it out there….I HATE SNOW. Seriously it isn’t pretty, it’s just slush and ice that makes me slip everywhere and makes all the transport come to a standstill! I am just dreaming about Spring now, it’s my absolute favourite time of year because when I lived in London we had a blossom tree between my house and school which was absolutely beautiful, whenever it was in bloom I knew it was getting close to water fights, the ice cream van and Chessington weather!

I actually got these for Christmas and I am totally in love with them. They are very creamy and have excellent colour payoff. I was really surprised by this and imagined they would look great in the stick but that wouldn’t translate when they were applied to the eye like a lot of cream eyeshadows. I love to line my bottom lashes with a bold colour, especially in spring/summer months as I think you can wear brighter makeup and be a little more daring when the sun is out! What I liked most about these is they are very hard wearing, below is some pictures of the 3 colours in action, you will also see a picture similar to the one above, this is after I have rubbed my arm repeatedly and as you can see they hardly budged at all and it actually took eye makeup remover to get them off completely! For summer this is a god send, I for one find makeup rarely stays in place in the heat and I think these would be fantastic to take on holiday. A quick swipe along the lower lash line or over the lid and these won’t budge until it’s time to take your makeup off. I hope they bring more colours out as I would definitely be interested in purchasing them in different shades (there is one more shade which is a pinky metallic colour called Marble and it is now on my shopping list!)
