1. James Bond 007 Limited Edition Gold Fragrance Boots £25
With all the hype around the latest Bond film I sometimes forget what a great british institution the films (and books!) are. The James Bond 007 Limited Edition Gold fragrance is just a perfect christmas prezzie for Dads, Boyfriends, Brothers or even Grandads. I bet you every single one of them has at some point dreamed of being 007! The only bad thing about this present is the almost guaranteed debate/argument over who is the best Bond….(obv Daniel Craig right?!)
2. Lush Bath Bombs (from £2.95)
They will all tell you that bath bombs, bath bubbles or bath oils are ‘for girls’ but I guarantee they secretly love a pampering session and they are behind you having to replace your favourite bathtime products every few weeks! To make them appear a bit more ‘manly’ stick to the blue and green bath bombs. My Dad’s favourite is the ‘big blue’ filled with lavender oil, lemon oil, seaweed and sea salt. He has a super stressful job in London and this is his once a week luxury to de-stress so it must be good!
3. Socks Marks and Spencers £9.50
It wouldn’t be Christmas without socks, and trust me they are always appreciated! I have a tradition of getting my dad these ones from Marks and Spencers, to the outside world (and the Liverpool Street Suits he works with!) he is a professional businessman in sober black socks. But he likes the bright toes on these ones and mixes and matches them as his little way to ‘stick it to the man’ (am I the only one who thinks of School of Rock everytime someone says ‘the man’?!). Might be a bit sad but Christmas is all about tradition and I think it is a great time to get people things like socks, PJ’s and pampering products!
4. DVD Box Sets (Big Bang Theory 1-5 and The Bond Collection)
A box set is always a great gift to give a man and my Dad is obsessed with Big Bang Theory, it’s smart but family friendly humour and I have yet to meet a man who doesn’t love it. I also think The Bond Collection is fantastic and a really great gift you could get as a joint present with the fragrance! It might also solve the aformentioned ‘whose the better Bond’ argument as you can whack the boxset on for them in the front room while you sneak upstairs to watch Downton in peace with a box of quality street! (I seriously love that this is totally acceptable Christmas behaviour!) Both of these box sets are available in HMV so you can still pick them up whilst your doing your last minute shopping!

It can be so tricky buying things for men but I think if you stick to the basics (what they need, what they watch, what they wear) then you pretty much can’t go wrong!
