Soap & Glory Super Colour Fabulipstick Powdercoat Matte Lipstick £9
Hi girlies, I spoke to you before about how I went a bit mad in Boots a few weeks ago when they had the 3 for 2 deal on. I wanted to try a matte lipstick from Soap & Glory after being so impressed with the other lip products from them (reviews to come!) I picked the shade ‘Pom Pom’ because it looks like such a nice berry shade for Autumn/Winter and I haven’t seen anything like it before. I was really impressed with the texture of these lipsticks, I have found that sometimes matte lip colours can feel really heavy on the lip but this feels creamy on. It is also highly pigmented, one swipe and you have full coverage which is good for me as I have very red lips naturally which makes it hard for colours to show up properly. It had good staying power, lasting around 4-6 hours before I wanted to re-apply which I think is pretty good for a matte lip colour. I would say it is on the pricey side, £9.00 is pretty steep for a drugstore brand but having said that I found the quality to be on par with my MAC lipsticks which retail at £14.00.
