Hi girlies, another week filled with beauty news for me to share with you!
This week has been a busy one for me, I have tried to get my posting back to normal and have posted everyday except yesterday as I went to Stratford for a spot of retail therapy. I have really enjoyed getting back into blogging, I told you before that I had been finding it a little hard to manage my time as we are in the process of moving house. Moving is just so unbelievably stressful and with all the viewings both at our house and going to view other houses, plus putting in offers and working out moving budgets I have just been mentally exhausted! But now things have settle down a little bit I am really loving catching up on my favourite blogs and discovering some new ones. I don’t usually like it when people post their blog links on the comments section instead of actually commenting but I would love it if you could leave me your links as I am looking for some new blogs to follow 🙂
This week I have posted about:
One of my favourite retro beauty products, the Max Factor Pan Stick Foundation.
A unique blush/bronze for just £1, the MUA blush in shade 6.
The perfect pink lipstick? The Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Watermelon.
One mascara wished I had blogged about before, the Look Beauty Stretch Factor Mascara.
The first of many I hope! A guest post from the lovely Morsh.
I really liked having a guest blogger, if you would like to write a post on my blog then do feel free do email me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
This week there have been some exciting new launches and news in the beauty world, here are my top reads!
TIGI releases new Shampoo and Conditioner. I love the sound of these new releases, ‘Recharge’ which is designed to remove sweat and product buildup for a healthy shine and ‘Elasticate’ designed to help with breakage. I like the idea of Recharge especially for a weekly cleanse or for after exercising!
La Perla introduces new perfume ‘La Perla Gold’. The scent features top notes of bergamot, mandarin and caramelised wild strawberries, heart notes of frankincense, orange flower and Damascus rose, with base notes of patchouli, benzoin and amber. I love this sort of scent!
Organic Pharmacy launches Cosmic nail polishes. Not only do I love these classic reds and the gorgeous jewelled topcoat, but they also contain no harmful chemicals and are long lasting. I’m completely sold!
Lipstick Queen unveils new offerings. Too many launches to mention but I am very excited to try the Dancing Queen giftset of three shimmery lipsticks.
Nad’s unveils new nose wax. I had to include this because it freaked me out! How scary would it be to use wax up your nose?! Don’t think I would ever be brave enough to try this!
Topman launches first premium fragrance. This would make a great gift for Christmas!
MAC launches ‘Glamour Daze’ collection. Every single time MAC launches a new collection I just need it all right away, I have a feeling this will be no exception. I am already coveting some new lip and cheek colours!!
OPI announces the spring/summer collection. I have already seen some swatches and there are some brilliant new colours coming for the new year. I am loving the burnt oranges and a bright blue, perfect for an injection of colour.
Rituals launches winter beauty range. I have talked about Rituals before but have to say I haven’t tried their makeup range before, I will definitely be popping in store to swatch and take some pictures of the products available and will post about them so keep your eyes peeled!
WOWZA that was a lot of beauty news, does it shock you how much happens in one week? I am always amazed by how many launches there are everyweek. It is so easy for posts to get lost in the crowd so when I see a blog I love reading all week I have to mention it to you so you can check it out!
That brings me onto my blog of the week ‘Tattooed Tea Lady!’ Sophia who runs this fantastic blog is so lovely and really active in the #bbloggers community. I love her no nonsense approach to her posts and the fact that she always posts regularly. I have been a fan for ages but this week I wanted to show some bblogger love to Sophia who has been having a bit of a crap week blogging wise. She is fabulous and I urge you to visit her blog, you can thank me later!
