L’oreal Mythic Oil Review

17/08/2012 · beauty · 0

L’oreal Mythic Oil £11.95 Look Fantastic
I got this for my birthday and have to say I have really enjoyed using it. I actually thought it would be a goldish colour (because of the packaging how stupid am I?!) but it is completely clear. I would definitely agree that it is an oil rather than a serum and it feels very very nourishing on, but I haven’t found it greasy at all! I have tried it on wet hair and have found when blow-drying my hair it is much smoother and shinier. When used on dry hair it feels really softening and adds a nice sheen especially if your wearing your hair up or in a bun! But my favourite way to use it is as an overnight treatment. I have just dip dyed my hair and the ends are really feeling the effects of the bleach, I coat the ends in this and then leave it overnight before washing it out and it makes my hair feel like silk. Would I repurchase it? Definitely! I prefer it in consistency to Moroccan Oil and find it has a much more pleasant smell too!
I was thinking about doing a comparison post with pictures of them both in use etc, would you like that?
Let me know!
Charlotte

I have Moroccan Oil and Mythic Oil too and whilst I love them both, I agree with you that this smells nicer and has a consistency that’s much easier to work with! X

L’Oreal Mythic Oil is my holy grail product. I use it almost every day especially when blowdrying my hair. I think Hairtrade is the cheapest place at the moment – here’s the link if anyone wants to have a look. I even use it on my I&K extensions too! x
