I was out shopping this week and popped into Marks and Spencers to grab the essentials (yes knickers…they really are the best for them aren’t they?).
As I was leaving I wandered through their makeup ‘department’ and noticed they were having a huge sale.
Now I have never bought makeup from Marks and Spencers before as I have always considered them quite pricey and a bit old fashioned. I was pleasantly surprised by the sale items and quickly grabbed a cheek and lip cream in a rose pink, 2 nail polishes in a violet and lilac and a vibrant lippie in shocking pink all for just £2 each.
For £2 I wasn’t expecting much to be honest, but I was blown away by the lipsticks quality. I have compared it to MAC because it went on exactly like the MAC Creamsheens. It felt really hydrating and for such a bright colour it didn’t dry out my lips or highlight any dry patches.
I have taken some pictures for a comparison on colours to show you how similar it is to MAC’s ‘Lickable’.

One thing to bear in mind, the packaging is awful. I mean really really cheap looking! But for a lipstick that rivals a £13.50 lipstick (and I do mean rivals, I actually prefer the slightly brighter tone in this to Lickable!) for just £2 it is an absolute steal!
