Hi girlies!!!
How have you all been? I can’t believe the weather is still not getting any better, it is so depressing!! To cheer myself up I have been getting all into new product launches and picked up the new Maybelline mascara ‘Illegal Lengths’. From the beauty chat I found online this mascara already existed in the US and was discontinued there which did make me wonder why they have launched it here…but onto the review!!!
I thought this was a nice mascara to use but I wouldn’t say it gave me ‘Illegal Length’ eyelashes. It did a very nice job at separating and lengthening them and I would definitely use this mascara again but I have used better volumizing ones recently (check out my review of the 17 Cosmetics Va Va Voom Mascara here). I think allot of this is due to the brush which is quite sparse and not really full enough to give that big lash look I like. I think for me I like my lashes to look more full then ‘spread out’ and individual but that’s because I don’t love the fake lash look. I do think if that’s what you want then you will really like the effect with this one.

I have this mascara and I find I need to use eyelash curlers first and it dries very quickly and does not seem to like layered application. It is a demon to remove as well! I save it for when I need waterproof. Not keen on the brush as it does not deliver much product. I shall try it with one of my more favoured mascara brushes and see how that bodes.
