A really simple way of personalizing your work or living space is by having a wall art quote that is personal to you. There are tons of Etsy shops that sell them and they can actually get quite pricey, I decided to have a go at creating my own with one of my favourite ever quotes ftom that wise old wizard Dumbledore! This whole thing cost me less that £2 (this is around $3) including the ink used which I think is pretty good going!
What you will need:
- Microsoft Word
- White A4 Paper (or card)
- Black Ink for your printer
- A4 Frame (mine is from poundland, in the U.S they sell them at the dollarstore)
- The free Harry Potter font (I will show you how to download this in the step by step below, link to the font website is here!)
Pretty simple right? Make sure you narrow the borders in word so the font goes right to the edges and of course play around with font sizes this is just the size I used to give you some idea of how it looks! What do you get once you hit print? Something a little like this:
I placed it in the dollar store/pound shop frame and hey presto! It really is that simple! I think this would be fab as a Christmas gift for a friend or relative with a quote from a film or book they love, I used a plain frame but you could be fancy and use a nicer one or even print in a bigger size so it is more like a poster, it’s such a simple but effective way to personalize a space!
This looks so cool, I am definitely going to try recreating one of these! x
