Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara Review

26/02/2012 · beauty · 0

Hi Girlies!!

How has everyones weekend been? I hope you have all had a nice time in the sunshine!!! I spent mine relaxing after a night out on Friday with my good friend Tess, we went to Zizis for a lovely dinner and then onto a few bars and a club for some dancing, was so nice to have a girls night out!! I decided to try out a new mascara for my night out and realised I have had the Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara for a little while now but haven’t used/reviewed it so here is my review!!

Overall score 5/5
Ease of application 5/5
Colour intensity 5/5
Dryability (not a real word but oh well) 5/5
Price: £7.99 (on special offer at Superdrug at the moment for £5.99!!)

Now I am a HUGE fan of Maybelline Falsies Mascaras. They always do what they say they will, the brushes are always sturdy and grab every single lash and they are really purse friendly. Well I grabbed this one for just £5.99 in Superdrug. I loved the effect this mascara achieved. My lashes really were flared and the corner lashes curved out for a fluttery look. It was quite similar to the L’oreal false lash telescopic mascara in results but with less of a clumpy look which some people have had problems with. I liked that you can build layers with this mascara, in fact it is one of my favourite things about Maybelline mascaras that they can look nice and natural for the day, then you add one coat extra and they transform for a night time look!!

Here is a before and after picture to give you an idea of the mascara in action!!

What do you think? I would really recommend this if you had issues with the L’oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara and I think I will do a post comparing the two in pictures!!

Let me know your views!!
