CANTERBURY BEAUTY / LIFESTYLE / TRAVEL

goodbye 2014, hi there 2015!

01/01/2015 · beauty · 0

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope you all had the best new years eve, I stayed in and watched the London fireworks and just really took the time to appreciate all of my blessings in 2014! Saying that I have to say I am pretty pleased it’s over now, it was a very tough year for me personally and I couldn’t be more excited for 2015!

This year my only resolution is to be kind to myself. I have decided that 2015 is the year I treat myself as well as I like to think I treat other people around me! I am pretty negative towards myself and definitely don’t spend a lot of time for ‘me’ and that’s something I want to address. I’m not going to make any ‘I am going to be a size 8 in 2 months’ resolutions- in fact I am not going to think about anything like that at all, I am just going to take the time to nourish myself: mind, body and lifestyle-wise. I invested in a Nutribullet with my Christmas money and have some plans to travel this year as well as taking up some exercise (mainly for the mood-boosting properties!) Spending time with my family and close friends is important to me too and growing my business (Charles and Wynn) which has been such a massive step towards my aim of being completely self-sufficient.

happy 2015

I also have a few blog plans this year, I am going to ‘say yes’ to as many events and launches as I can so I can start to be a bit more social with other bloggers, I’m sure I come across a bit boring/unfriendly but having PTSD does make little events seem like massive commitments, hopefully that’s something I can work on this year! I also have a fab new website launching for bloggers to get advice, share their blogs and just generally chat about all things blogging, it should be launching around easter and I’d love for you to be involved so keep your eyes peeled for more information!

I’d love to know what your new years resolutions are and what you hope 2015 will bring.

Thank you so much for reading Ever In May and happy new year!!

At first – Happy New Year!
At second – I’m glad I found your blog – looks very chic, I like it so much!
In 2015, I want to be happy and healthy – nothing more. Sure, the success is great, love is perfect, but to be healthy is the most important thing.
