So now that the big day is over for another year (am I the only one who thinks it goes way to quickly?!) it’s time to start thinking about the new year! For lots of you that will involve a night out to celebrate the beginning of 2013. I used to go out every new years eve but one year I was poorly and stayed in, when I woke up on the first day of the new year feeling rested and hangover free I knew old age had hit me and I was no longer up for celebrating the new year in a club! Now I tend to do things a lot more low key and this year I am actually going to just stay at home and spend the new year with my family! IF however your going out for New Years Eve then I really suggest you pop to Boots and pick up the new Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara! I was looking forward to this launch more than any other and grabbed one the day it came out which isn’t like me. I have tried it a few times now and am totally in love 🙂
Doesn’t it give a lovely big lash look? I tried and tried to get it to clump and go bad just to test out its ‘clumpy defy’ name, but it really is the perfect anti-clump mascara. The curved brush caught all of my corner lashes and fanned them out for a full volume look. There wasn’t anything I disliked about this one, it gave me lashes that were almost fake lash standard and were noticeably fuller. I would 100% recommend you pick one up for New Years Eve, I wore this all day and the curl in my lashes didn’t drop and they looked as good at the end of the day as they did when I first applied it. The best thing for me was the mascara product itself, it was very light and applied smoothly and evenly, it also dried instantly.
