MAC Face and Body Foundation Review

28/12/2012 · beauty · 0

One of the things I got for Christmas was the MAC face and body foundation. I have wanted to try it for so long and was really happy to receive it as a present as the £20+ price tag was putting me off! I had looked at swatches online and thought N2 would be the right shade for me, I am happy to say it was a near perfect match! It has a pinky tone to it which is great for me as it is pale but it doesn’t mask the pinky tone to my skin like a lot of pale foundations do. It feels very light on the skin, it’s almost like applying a light moisturiser or gel. I really liked the smell of it too, I expected it to have no scent but it smelt very fresh which was a nice surprise. Application wise this was very easy to use, it blends really well and can be built up for stronger coverage. I could see how you could end up applying too much product as it is so light on, it can almost feel like you haven’t applied enough, however with a bit of practice though I think it could be my new favourite foundation! Best of all this foundation photographs really well, it leaves skin looking flawless and fresh, I can definitely see why it is such a cult makeup product amongst makeup artists/bloggers!
What do you think of the MAC face and body foundation?
Let me know!
