How to Refresh the Look of your Kitchen

04/11/2020 · collaborative post · 0

If you want to accessorise your kitchen then you’ll be glad to know that this is very easy to do. If you follow this guide, then you will soon find that it is easier than ever for you to get the look you want and at a price you can afford:

Art

Who said that you can’t hang art in the kitchen? It’s a novel idea to say the least but it’s a great way for you to bring everything together. If you have a favourite piece of art but are simply stuck for a colour scheme, then simply pick out your top colours in the artwork and then let the artist do the hard work for you. For example, if there are a lot of blues in the art then choose a shade of blue a touch lighter for the paint on the walls. If you do this, then you will soon find that things come together much more and that you are able to transform the entire look of your kitchen with ease.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper is making a comeback and if you use it in the kitchen then you will soon find that you are able to get a very nice design with ease. If you have some stark cabinetry, then you may want to try and incorporate some wallpaper so you can bring everything together. If you are worried about using wallpaper in a kitchen then try and put it behind a glass panel so that it can act as a splashback. When you do this, you will soon find that you’re able to add some colour without compromising the overall design of the room.

Finishing touches

A very bright white kitchen colour scheme has the advantage of being tasteful and minimalistic. It’s also very easy for you to update through using accessories too. If you want to help yourself then try and use vibrant or playful pieces. This will help you to create the best colour scheme and you would be surprised at how easy it is for you to make everything blend together well. If you are stuck then opt for red accessories in your white kitchen, so you can add a splash of colour.

Accessories

Open shelving in a kitchen will help you to maximise the amount of space you have and it will also make a very strong design statement too. If you use reclaimed boards then this will help you out a lot and you may even find that heritage-style brackets help a lot too. This will add character and it will also make it feel more like home. Wood adds warmth too, so keep that in mind. If you want something that will refresh the look of your kitchen then why not explore perfect coffee gift sets? When you do, you have something that looks neat as well as something that can be used for display purposes. If you do this then everything will come together in no time at all.
