Today I wanted to share with you a new (to me!) lipstick I cannot stop wearing atm. I picked up MAC’s Creme In Your Coffee when I had a bit of a MAC swatching session at my local counter, there are lots of brown toned pinks about but I haven’t see too many pink toned browns and this one just really stood out for me as being a bit different to your standard autumn lip colours!
As I said this is most definitely a brown lipstick, but the pink undertones make it really wearable and suitable for all skintones (brown lipsticks can look quite harsh on pale girls!) It is a cremesheen formula so feels very moisturising on the lips, I prefer cremesheens in winter because my lips are always a little bit dry and they really help to disguise that! I really do love this shade and it’s definitely unique in my collection, it sits somewhere between Topshop’s Beatnik and Maybelline’s Lasting Chestnut (both of which are beautiful brown/pink hybrids!) I noticed that Fragrance Direct are now selling MAC lipsticks with about £1.50 off the RRP which is quite a good saving, they dont have every shade but they do have Creme In Your Coffee if you fancy picking one up (heres the link)!

This shade is so lovely and I have to try it out, just to check the formula because cremesheen can sit weirdly on my lips… Today morning I was in a Mac store, too bad I haven’t seen your post before going! 🙂

they can feel a bit ‘slippy’ can’t they? I think this one isn’t as slippy as some of the cremesheens if that makes sense! oh what did you pick up? xxx
I have Creme Cup and Creme D’Nude, maybe they look weird because they are nudes… I have to exfoliate my lips first, add some lip liner and gloss on top of the lipstick… I tried Diva and I loved it… I’m waiting for a discount to get it! 🙂
Film Noir is also pretty, if you use it sheer!

I don’t know about you but as a fellow pale girl I find lighter lipsticks quite hard to pull off but this looks like one I could actually get on with! Great post x
