Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin Curves Mascara: Review + Pictures

28/01/2014 · beauty · 0

I have spoken before about my love/hate relationship with Rimmel, I absolutely love their bases but I find their mascaras just don’t work well for me at all! Nevertheless I spotted this new release in my local Boots and when I saw the brush I immediately said ‘oooooh wow’ before popping it in my basket alongside 3 other new mascaras (yes I have a mascara addiction!) The Rockin Curves mascara has an ‘S’ shaped brush which mimics the shape of your eyes, it means you can get volume right for the roots and grab all those pesky corner lashes in one coat! I was dubious about this one, it seemed a tad gimmicky and the packaging is horrendous but the mascara itself is really good!
I found the brush to be one of the best I’ve ever tried! It has thick, full bristles and the ‘S’ shape really does work well at grabbing ever single lash right from the root. I felt like it built up length and volume really easily and I didn’t need to work hard to create the look I wanted. I also loved that no matter how much I worked this through my lashes it didn’t clump at all, it just gave me really full, long looking lashes. My only gripe if I had to have one would be that the end result isn’t really dramatic- that suits me fine but if your looking for really big bold lashes this might not be for you- if however your looking for length, volume and lots of curl then I would highly recommend this one!
The Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin Curves Mascara costs £4.99 from Boots here
(soon to be £6.99 so grab it quickly!)

It looks really gimmicky, but the results are amazing on your lashes! I may just have to give it a try! x
