H&M Lip Crayons

04/10/2013 · beauty · 0

I’m not a massive fan of negative reviews but it is just as important to let you know what products I personally haven’t enjoyed using as much as the ones I love! I picked up 3 of the H&M lip crayons at the checkout in my local store, it was definitely an ‘on a whim’ purchase and for £2.99 each I wasn’t expecting too much. I was definitely right not to! The lip crayons swatch really well, they look pigmented and glossy but unfortunately this doesn’t translate to application. They have a sort of milky consistency which makes them just ‘sit’ on the lips, blending is near impossible and as you can see from the pictures above they look a bit streaky and blah! I won’t say anything else because I think the pictures explain the results better than I could, personally these were a miss for me, I think H&M could really revamp their makeup range and make it relevant again, they are obviously trying to keep up with trends but the quality just isn’t there yet!

Lip crayons are definitely my favourite lip products, shame you didnt get on with these ones! I think they actually look ok on your lip swatches especially the first one, although the MUA ones are the same price and definitely more pigmented. Thanks for the honest review, its always good to know what to avoid! x

It is a shame they weren’t good quality. I had a few H&M eyeshadows that weren’t great quality either.
I will save my money x
