MAC MSF: Soft and Gentle

14/09/2013 · beauty · 0

I had actually been after MAC Soft and Gentle for ages but it is always sold out at my local counter. When I was travelling through Gatwick they had it in stock so it went straight in my duty free basket! A velvet soft powder in a frost/metallic finish, Soft and Gentle is a bit of a blogger cult product and I can see why! You can use it all over the face or as a highlighter  and depending on what look I am going for I use it both ways!

For day to day I like to apply it lightly all over the face with a big fluffy brush, I find it gives me a nice glow which my skin definitely lacks naturally! If you’ve applied a foundation that feels a bit cakey this also helps to make it look softer and more natural. For an evening look I like to apply this to the brow bone, cheekbones and collarbone, it gives a luminous finish which photographs beautifully making it perfect for big/special nights out!

I would definitely repurchase this, since I have started using it people always comment on how lovely my skin looks and how I look really well, not bad for a £22 powder!

I recently bought this too and I was kicking myself that I didn’t get it sooner than I did! It’s so beautiful and really worth the hype that surrounds it! 🙂 x
